NEW YORK (Reuters) – New York’s pizza chain Pizza Express is expanding its business to include baked goods.
It said on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to open an outpost in Brooklyn, a suburb of New York City.
It is the first time Pizza Express has opened a new store in Brooklyn.
Pizza Express is a specialty pizza restaurant chain, which makes all kinds of pies, including pies with toppings, crusts and sauces.
It is one of the biggest players in the pie industry, making up for a lack of fresh-from-the-oven pizza in other parts of the United States.
It also owns and operates The Pizza Box in New York and the Pizza Hut chain in Florida.
