Why are Democrats so obsessed with the pizza debate?

A Democratic Party committee is looking into whether a national pizza chain has an ethical conflict by endorsing a candidate who has made anti-Semitic comments.

The committee announced Monday that it would review a memo from the state Democratic Party, which states that former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile gave advice to Hillary Clinton’s campaign about the best ways to get endorsements from pizza chains.

A spokesman for the state party said it will look into the matter and has asked for the committee to look into whether there are ethical questions.

The DNC also said that the committee has an obligation to act on the memo’s findings and has “reached out to the national party.”
