A Pizza Cutter, a delivery driver, was arrested Thursday after police say he fired shots into a group of people during a drive-by shooting near the Interstate 80 overpass near Route 30 in the San Bernardino Mountains.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said a man was shot in the arm, leg and shoulder while riding in a car with a friend in the vehicle near the interchange of Highway 70 and Interstate 30 near the Hwy.
The driver of the car called 911 and told deputies that a group was “having a fight” and that they were firing at him.
The shooting occurred about 5 p.m.
Thursday near the corner of Highway 90 and Route 120, the sheriff’s department said in a news release.
Officers arrived and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and another man who was grazed by a bullet.
He was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
A man and a woman were also in the car at the time.
Both were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the release said.
It wasn’t immediately known if the suspects were identified.
Authorities said they don’t believe the shooting was gang related.
